The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

A robot vacuum/mop combination is the ideal option for pets who shed fur. This machine can mop, vacuum and clean its own dual mop pad.

It also has 8,000Pa suction, the highest of any robot we've evaluated. It can also organize cleaning schedules and save your house's maps from its app.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni OKP 2500Pa Robot Vacuum: Powerful - Alexa Compatible vacuum-mop is the latest model in Ecovacs range of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model is equipped with Ecovacs' new AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system, which offers improved mapping and obstacles avoidance. The system uses dual-laser LiDAR -- similar to what is used in self-driving cars and is able to scan an area of up to 32 feet by 270 degrees. This translates to more accurate mapping, faster response time, and greater cleaning accuracy.

It also features a rotating mopping pad made of chenille fabric. This makes it easier to scrub tough areas unlike traditional mop. In my tests the X2 Omni took just over an hour to wash its pad and begin work, and I noticed that it was more precise than other models that seemed to follow a grid route around rooms. It was adept at navigating my rooms' corners and edges, as well as create an "Zambani pattern" up and down the center of the room. It returned to its OMNI Station on a regular basis to empty the dustbin, and wash the mop with hot water prior to beginning another cleaning task.

Like other Ecovacs products, the X2 Omni is easy to set up and start using. It takes just minutes to secure the dock into position, plug it in, and pair with your home Wi-Fi network. Then, you can start the app and start with your first cleaning project. I was able to modify my floor plan within 15 minutes. This included creating restricted areas for mopping and sweeping, reworking the placement of furniture that is mounted on walls and much more. The X2 Omni did a great job in my tests, achieving outstanding scores in cleaning pet hair and debris cleaning and near-perfect results in crevice and edge cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

The T10 Omni from ECOVACS is a powerful mopping and vacuum machine. It is the most advanced of the T-line offered by the company and features the brand new OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system that utilizes a dual-spinning brush for superior cleaning than traditional scrubbing. It also has YIKO built-in, a first-of-its-kind natural language processing technology that allows it to respond to a range of voice commands. You can use the ECOVACS app to map your home, set up cleaning schedules and adjust settings.

The T10 Omni's biggest flaw is that it can't switch between vacuuming and mopping in a single run. The T10 Omni has two modes that require you to attach mop heads to and from the vacuum according to your needs. This is great for most households, but not for those with busy lives.

The Deebot T10 is a fantastic robot vacuum that produces impressive results. It removed more than 96% of the debris from our hardwood floors. This is a remarkable performance. It also did an excellent job on tile and carpet and tile, getting rid of more than 99% of dirt and debris.

This robot vacuum and mop has an enormous docking station that provides cool water auto-cleaning for its mop pads, and auto-emptying into a 3L plastic bag that's simple to replace, and hot air drying for quick and simple maintenance. It also has a large tank of water that allows it to be rinsed and dried more frequently between mopping sessions.

Like other mopping machines like the Deebot T10 Omni, it has a wash tray in its base that cleans and dries the mop pads as it utilizes them. It does not have a tray that can be removed, which means that dust, dirt and other grime will gradually build up at the bottom.

3. RoboVac X8 hybrid

This is the first model of mopping from Anker which is well-known for its robot vacuums. It has improved smarts, multiple map support and LIDAR scanning, as well as twin turbine suction technology that adapts to the surface you're cleaning. It's a mid-range robotic cleaner that's stylish even if its claim of being a one-stop shop for floor cleaning does not be realized.

The X8 Hybrid appears to be a standard robotic cleaner from the top. It has a circular shape with sweeper wheels and an elevated sensor area. On the other side you'll find a motorized floorbrush and a single side brush that moves dust from the edges to the main path of its'mouth.' It's a bit smaller than the main brushes of the iRobot Roomba S9, which I found makes it easier to fit under sofas and chairs.

Its mapping system is fairly sophisticated and allows you to set no-mop zones as well as specific cleaning zones. However, it has a tendency to hit things (including its charging dock) and isn't the best in climbing over rugs. It was capable of picking up pet hair on floors that were not paved however, and during our tests, it took in 89.5% of kitty litter, which is higher than any of the most powerful robots we've examined.

The X8 Hybrid is controlled via an app, but it also has a set of physical buttons on its base. These buttons allow you to select the cleaning mode, or turn the robot on/off. These buttons can be used to set up zones that are not allowed to be visited and to view real-time maps. It's also a bit chatty, and will tell what it's going to do next (start cleaning) or notify you when something isn't right.

4. ILIFE A4s

This high-tech model sucks up pet hair, kibble, and other debris with top-notch efficiency and maneuvers flawlessly around furniture legs. It comes with a feature set that is impressive, which includes two cleaning modes as well as an automatic docking station and real-time obstacles avoidance technology. The Wi-Fi enabled device can be operated via the Neato App, where cleanings are scheduled and maintenance requirements are tracked. The X2 Omni is a great choice for large homes with a mix of hard and carpet flooring. However it will require some planning ahead to avoid getting caught by power cables, toys, or other obstacles that might be unexpected.

This robot did well in our tests of hardwood floors and food particles. It ate everything, from a single rice grain to several dog food pieces with just one pass. It did have some issues with rugs, but generally speaking the vacuum cleaner is great for rooms with floors of different types and a mix of pets.

The A4s Pro is a bit expensive however it's a great option for those who wish to to leave the house with no hands on so they can do other things or do chores. The A4s Pro also offers a handy auto cleaning mode that automatically boosts suction power to handle tough dirt and spills, and includes batteries that power the ElectroWall which allows you to set boundaries that the robot is not allowed to access.

This budget-friendly model from a well-known upstart brand is the cheapest robot we've tested to date and offers an incredible value for robot vacuum mops price. The basic navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm and it's not equipped to map rooms. This renders it less efficient than the other models on this list. It's still able get under furniture and in the corners. Its mopping mode performed very well in our tests by picking up hairs and other debris.

5. Shark iQ

Shark's iQ may not be as well-built as the Roomba S9, but it is superior in general at cleaning up pet hair on all surfaces. It is more effective of cleaning low-pile carpet and robot vacuum mops floors that are not covered. It also utilizes smart-pathing navigational software for greater mobility. It can be directed to a specific location, and includes a variety of advanced automation features including no-go zones and schedules. It can even to pause and resume cleaning sessions and is perfect for homes with pets.

The self-cleaning brushroll is able to prevent the tangles caused by pet hair and other debris, and its bagless self-emptying dock station can hold up to 30 days of dirt prior to needing to be emptied. It comes with of angled side brushes that can reach into corners, as well as a multi-stage filter system to capture dust, dander and allergens.

This robot vacuum feels solid and well-built. It has a smartphone app that enables you to change the settings of your vacuum and schedule cleaning times in advance. The app allows you to see the remaining battery life of the iQ and also receive push notifications if it encounters any problems during a cleaning session. You can also control it using your voice using an Amazon Alexa device or Google Assistant device. If you don't own either of these devices you can mark the boundaries of your area with physical boundary markers strips.

The iQ does a good job of cleaning floors and does a decent job on low-pile and shaggy carpet however it lacks the same degree of autonomy as our top picks. It is also expensive and its recurring cost can increase.lefant-m210p-robot-vacuum-cleaner-featur
